Social Infrastructure Workshop
Date: 11 February 2009
Time: 10.00am - 12.30pm
Location: Stratford Old Town Hall, Broadway, Stratford, E15 4BQ
What’s it all about?
The Legacy Masterplan Framework (LMF) is a planning document that will enable development to take place inside the Olympic Park after 2012 to ensure a lasting legacy is created for London in terms of new homes, places of work, parkland, schools, health and sports facilities, and public transport.
This workshop will provide a great opportunity for you to find out more about the LMF process and to contribute your ideas and concerns as the masterplanners present the preferred option for the Olympic Park after the 2012 Games. The primary focus of the workshop will be social infrastructure.
What will the session cover?
This workshop has been designed to explain the development of the LMF and show the latest plans for the Olympic Park in legacy with a specific focus on the topic of social infrastructure.
The workshop is aimed at oganisations working across London, specifically the East London region, with an interest in social infrastructure. There are other workshops taking place on other special interest topics including housing, transport, parklands and environmental sustainability. In addition, there will be local drop-in workshops for people to attend. Please view the calendar for further details.
