Hackney drop-in Workshop
Date: 12 February 2009
Time: 6.00pm - 8.00pm
Location: Hackney Empire, Mare Street, Hackney, E8 1EJ
What’s it all about?
The Legacy Masterplan Framework (LMF) is a planning document that will enable development to take place inside the Olympic Park after 2012 to ensure a lasting legacy is created for London in terms of new homes, places of work, parkland, schools, health and sports facilities, and public transport.
The drop-in workshop will provide a great opportunity for you to find out more about the LMF process and to contribute your ideas and concerns as the masterplanners present the preferred option for the Olympic Park after the 2012 Games. The primary focus of the workshop will be about how the masterplan for the Olympic Park will impact the London borough of Hackney.
What will the session cover?
This drop-in workshop has been designed to explain the development of the LMF and show the latest plans for the Olympic Park in legacy with a specific focus on how the masterplan for the Olympic Park will impact the London borough of Hackney.
The workshop is aimed at residents or oganisations in the London borough of Hackney who have an interest in how the masterplan will integrate with the communities surrounding the Park. There are other workshops taking place on special interest topics including transport, housing, social infrastructure, parklands and environmental sustainability as well as other host borough drop-in workshops. Please view the calendar for further details.
