Meet the Team
The London Development Agency (LDA) is working closely with, and on behalf of, the Olympic Delivery Authority and other legacy partners, including the Mayor of London, central government, Lee Valley Regional Park Authority, the local boroughs of Greenwich, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest and the London Thames Gateway Development Corporation, to deliver a positive and lasting legacy after the Games.
The LDA has commissioned a legacy design team comprising KCAP Architects & Planners, Allies and Morrison Architects, and EDAW. This team will work with a range of stakeholders including technical specialists, local people and businesses to develop the long-term plans for the Park and the surrounding areas.
Beyond Green has been appointed to run the consultation and engagement process along with Leaside Regeneration. Beyond Green will also lead the development of a vision and high level objectives for the masterplan covering environmental, social and economic aspects of sustainability.
Buro Happold will advise on civil and structural engineering issues in the design.
Faber Maunsell will input on landscape, townscape and visual impact, transport planning, environmental planning and engineering.
JMP will undertake work to understand and assess the health impact of the design.
PMP will be advising on the sports and leisure strategy.
Vision XS will undertake work to understand leisure, culture and visitor management issues.
Nick Ritblat will assess social, cultural and economic development issues.
McDowell + Benedetti, Caruso St John, Haworth Tompkins, Maccreanor Lavington, Panter Hudspith, S333 will all contribute to the architecture, urban design and masterplanning work.
Vogt Landschaftsarchitekten and Camlin Lonsdale will provide landscape architecture advice.
