Next steps

It is expected that a planning application will be submitted for approval by 2011, but work on the Olympic Legacy doesn’t stop there. The Olympic Park Legacy Company will be able to increase discussions with potential developers and investors in order to tap into their ideas and aspirations for the site. Discussion and activities with local communities will also continue to play a major role.

Plans are also being drawn up at the moment for major events and activities in the Park after the 2012 Games. These will help attract visitors and locals into the Park and ensure it remains a place of interest and excitement long after the Games.
