Five sports venues are to be kept after the Games:
These venues will be modified so that they can be used by local people and by elite athletes alike, thereby keeping the memory of the 2012 Games alive, training the champions of the future, promoting healthy living and acting as a magnet for major sporting events, visitors and business.
Olympic and Paralympic Games-time Training Venues
The London 2012 Organising Committee is inviting sports and leisure facilities and venues to express their interest in being Olympic and Paralympic Games-time Training Venues.
These are the facilities that the competing athletes, coaches and support staff will use for training in the two weeks leading up to the Games, as well as during the Games.
